The 18th International Conference on X-ray Lasers (18th-ICXRL) will be held during July 17-20, 2023 in Shanghai, China. The 18th-ICXRL will be hosted by Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and co-organized by Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), and Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI), Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The ICXRL was established, since 1986, as a biannual event to promote the development of advanced extreme UV and X-ray sources, and their scientific applications in various fields. Joining ICXRL means experiencing the latest trends and shaping the future progress.
The topics include:
- Laser driven X-ray lasers,
- Discharge excitation and other pumping methods,
- Injection/seeding of X-ray amplifiers,
- New lasing transitions and novel X-ray laser schemes,
- Harmonics and wakefield X-ray sources,
- Synchrotron and free-electron lasers,
- X-ray optics and metrology,
- Driving laser technology,
- Applications of ultrashort intense X-ray sources,
etc.
The conference will invite world-renowned experts and academic leaders in the field of X-ray Lasers to give special reports and hold high-level sessions, and will jointly discuss the latest development trends in the field of X-ray Lasers and promote the close integration of industry, university, and research in the field of X-ray Lasers.
