Introducion:

Energetic and collimated plasma outflow launched from the center of galaxies have fascinated the community for a century. In spite of the advancement in observational and theoretical studies, many aspects regarding the detailed physics of extra-galactic jets remain not fully understood. This workshop aims to discuss our recent advances of theory and observations and understanding of extra-galactic jets and related high-energy phenomena.

In this mini-workshop, we would like to discuss the following topics:

- Jet launching GRMHD simulations

- Jet stability and variability

- Jet energetics : heating, dissipation, feedback

- Emission and Polarization - observed and simulated

- Particle Acceleration Mechanisms

- Essential observational inputs for theory

Workshop venue:
