China has been opening its doors wider to international travelers. In 2025, the country has expanded its unilateral visa-free policy to include over 40 countries. 

Below is the list of countries eligible for visa-free entry to China. 

 

 

 

  • F-Visa Invitation Letter Request (If Required)
    Most attendees can enter China visa-free. If you specifically need an F-visa (Business/Visit Visa), submit the following details to the responsible secretary of the sessions.
  1. Full Name (as shown in your passport)
  2. Email Address
  3. Passport Number
  4. Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
  5. Passport Issued Country
  6. Planned Arrival Date in China (DD/MM/YYYY)
  7. Planned Departure Date from China (DD/MM/YYYY)
  8. Affiliation (Institution/University)
  9. Gender

        Note:Ensure all information matches your official documents.

 

  • 240-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy
    Citizens of the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada transiting through Shanghai to a third country/region may qualify for a visa-free stay of up to 240   hours (10 days) within Shanghai Municipality.
