The birth of neutrino astronomy occurred upon the detection of a handful of MeV neutrinos from SN1987A in 1987. It has entered a whole new era with IceCube's detection at the TeV-PeV energies of firstly a diffuse quasi-isotropic astrophysical neutrino flux in 2012-2013, and then neutrino emission from a flaring blazar TX0506+056 in 2017. The neutrino sky in the lowest (meV) and highest (EeV) energies, which are yet to be opened, also promise rich new physics in the coming years. With the extremely successful multi-messenger campaigns started by the detection of gravitational waves and high-energy neutrinos, this is a most exciting time ever for neutrino and multi-messenger astronomy!

The workshop aims to cover the following topics (loosely organized by energy scale):

1) MeV astrophysical neutrinos : with an emphasis on JUNO & PandaX neutrino astronomy / physics

2) TeV-PeV cosmic neutrinos : how to find more TeV neutrino sources?

3) EeV cosmic neutrinos : status of the field & development of GRAND

4) Multi-messenger & multi-frequency strategy

5) Cosmic relic neutrinos, cosmology & neutrino-related new physics

About TDLI: In 2014, Prof. Tsung-Dao Lee suggested to President Xi Jinping to establish a new research institute in China. The mission is to carry out cutting edge research to attack the most fundamental questions, not only to satisfy scientists’ curiosity, but also to inspire and nurture the next generation of scientists. This is how the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI) came into being in 2016. As we all know, aside from his Nobel awarding work of parity violation, Prof. Lee laid the foundation of modern neutrino experiments. It is indeed the right place built on legacy... let's gather at this new institute under Prof. Lee's name and dwell more on neutrinos & multi-messenger over coffee/tea/wine!
