Conference Background
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the discovery of parity non-conservation, a landmark achievement in the history of physics, the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University will host an international academic conference entitled “70th Anniversary of the Discovery of Parity Non-conservation and Prospects in Frontier Physics” on June 22–23, 2026.
The conference will review developments of particle physics since the discovery of parity non-conservation and its far-reaching impact on modern physics, while fostering in-depth discussions on recent advances in particle physics, quantum field theory, and related frontier areas. It aims to serve as a forum for intellectual exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.
