The first DMNS Collaboration Meeting will be held from Nov. 25 to Nov. 28 at the the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI), focussing on in-depth discussion to foster potential collaborations across various topics related to dense QCD matter in neutron stars. The meeting format will feature 3–4 selected invited lectures per day alongside dedicated working group sessions. Key themes include:
- Constraints on dense matter properties from theoretical calculations and multimessenger observations
- Application of machine learning techniques in EOS inference of neutron-star matter
- Numerical simulations of mergers and core-collapse supernovae
- Challenges and prospects for identifying novel phases of matter with next-generation facilities
Registration is by invitation only and a 500 RMB fee will be collected to cover lunches and coffee breaks. Lodging will be arranged centrally and participants are responsible for their own accommodation expenses.
